Baptism Service
We're off to the beach again! At least once a year, King's Church Medway arranges to have a trip to the beach. Camber Sands is the venue and this is where we will hold a special baptism service.
We always have a wonderful time and to see people following the steps of Jesus by being baptised is always one of the most amazing things to witness.
For more information and to see photos of previous baptism services, please go to the Baptism home page

Day of fun & fellowship
On Saturday 5th July, King's Church went to Shorne Country Park. We had fun, fellowship and football, along with many other activities. The weatherman said that we would have rain but we had perfect sunshine and the only rain was God, reigning in our lives and the blessing of friendship that was in the air.
This will not be the last time we do this, so we encourage you; if you were unable to make it this time, we will see you next time.
Alpha Course
King's Church Medway hosted the final part of a 10 week series on knowing God and the Bible on Wednesday 18th June. We celebrated and had a time of praise and worship, times of prayer, fellowship and a B.B.Q.
Watch this space as we will be doing Alpha again and you cannot go wrong with getting back to basics and asking questions and encouraging one another in the small groups held during these sessions.

Prayer Focus
With so much happening here at King's it is important that we keep focused. There are many areas, which we need to be covering in prayer.
The word this year to evangelise, modernise and move brings into sharp focus the commission and great responsibility that we have been given.

Pastor David Sola Amosun

Sunday 27th April 2008
Pastor David Sola Amosun is from the Victory Tabernacle Church in Nigeria and joined us on Sunday 27th Aprill to share that God has another side for our lives and calls, and sometimes even persuades us to cross to that other side. He first came to King's in September 2007, when he preached a powerful word on change; that through the word of God we may know Him and be ready for all that He has planned for us.
Both services are available on DVD video through the Believer's Bookshelf.
Camp 2008
It's off to camp we go...
From 16th to 20th April, King's Church went to Carrotty Wood to spend time with each other in fellowhip and fun. We are called to love each other and when we have these times together, real relationships are formed; relationships that last and that cause us to be encouraged and uplifted. It's about covenant...

Team challenges, games and fun together made this trip one to remember. Although the weather was against us, we had loads of fun.
Gavin Peacock

Both DVDs are available through the Believer's Bookshelf. |

In his career, Gavin played for Gillingham, Q.P.R. Newcastle and Chelsea F.C. Now, he is a commentator and T.V. presenter for the BBC’s Songs of Praise and Match of the Day.
Gavin Peacock preached here at King's in the morning of the 30th March on the Character of God, that He is Incomparable, Holy, the Creator and Sustainer, and that He is Love.
Gavin also joined us in the evening, when he shared his testimony and told us how the world sees a winner, and what it is to be a winner in the eyes of God.
Pride in Medway
On Friday 7th March, Marty Brogan (Manager of Caring Hands) and Brian Russell (Project manager for 3R Computer Recycling) attended the Pride in Medway Awards, where both projects received awards for their contributions to the local community in the help and services they offer.
This is confirmation that the great commission is alive and well and at work in these Medway towns... AMEN.
